Horizons Youth Services provides an opportunity for young people to grow and build brighter futures for themselves and their communities by focusing on the development of skills that unleash the potential in them to become productive citizens.

Horizons Youth Services, which began in 1983, has developed and operated many innovative youth programs, including leadership development and leadership training programs. Twice a year, Horizons conducts its SGA Leadership Conferences for student representatives from regional Job Corps centers. Horizons has also been providing Job Corps Center operations for the U.S. Department of Labor.

Horizons Youth Services is operating the Whitney M. Young Job Corps Center in Simpsonville, Kentucky, the Muhlenberg Career Development Center in Greenville, Kentucky, the North Texas Job Corps Center in McKinney, Texas and the Sacramento Job Corps Center in Sacramento, California. Recently, Horizons was also awarded the privilege of operating The Carl D.
